Little Time For Updates

Only time right now for the funniest of updates about my trip to Chicago. I lost my wallet on my first day. Luckily, I found it about 30 minutes later after having about 3 heart attacks.

I want to do a full write up on the trip and put up a sports post, but I'll have to wait til I get the chance.

Oh, Wouldn't It Be Nice!

Today may have been the greatest day ever on The Daily Sports Tome. I broke every hit record by any conceivable measure. Hopefully, everyone (including you who is currently reading this) who read today will be back in the future. Thanks, for the support.

On more important (not self-important) matters, PTI is 10 minutes from coming on and its time for a bit of PTI factual knowledge before the show arrives.

#1 Kornheiser says, "Goodnight Canada", at the end of the main PTI show b/c our neighbor to the north does not see the last segment which is now part of SportsCenter

#2 Wilbon's new four year contract as an ESPN employee averages about 2 million dollars per year.

#3 Wilbon is not a member of the Kornheiser's bald brotherhood. He likes to say he is shaved.

#4 When PTI first started airing, there was a Sunday night version.

#5 As anyone watching the last couple of days knows, no one on the show can do a proper British accent.

T-Minus 35 minutes until Dan Le Batard is hopefully gone from PTI forever.

Side Panel Revamp

I'm working on revamping everything that is found on the side panel of this site. So far I have added a small section to make it easier to subscribe to this blog's RSS reed, moved a few things up and down, and attempted to make the Daily Quick Links reflect more of the sites I am actually frequenting.

Hopefully this will help improve the overall quality of the Sports Tome experience.

Its go to know they thought alot of their previous product's quality.

Template Adjustment

I adjusted the template to make the post size larger to enable larger pictures and better spacing for everything. It may make a few of the older posts look a little off since they were optimized for the old style, but they should be fine in general. I think this if not necessarily more ascetic change, a move that will help make the entire point the site, enjoyable reading, stronger.

"Relax honey, change is good."
