Pack two of our Football repack box is 2006 Topps Draft Picks and Prospects with everyone favourite's hot tub splashin', co-ed wooing, backup quarterback on the cover.
Cheer up Matt. Warner is like 47 or so... he'll retire soon.
Charles Rogers - Detroit Lions. One of many 1st round busts from everyone's favourite GM, Matt Millen. Millen is now a TV analyst, and Rogers is in jail. I wonder why Detroit went 0-16?

Jerome Bettis - Pittsburgh. The Bus. A lot better ball player than TV analyst.

Julius Jones - Cowboys. Julius went from being the #1 guy in Dallas to being the #1 guy in Seattle. And still he watches the playoffs from the couch.

Jimmy Williams Chrome Rookie. This card is a 1/2 inch thick.
Jimmy was drafted 5th in the 2nd round of the 2006 draft by the Atlanta Falcons. Jimmy still enjoys the wacky weed. Jimmy was cut by Atlanta. Jimmy don't have no job.

Omar Jacobs Rookie.

Omar was MVP of the GMAC Bowl. Omar has the best touchdown to interception ratio in NCAA-1A history. (10.25-1) Omar led the nation in touchdown passes. Omar was drafted by the Steelers. Omar got cut. Picked up by the Eagles. Cut by the Eagles. Signed by the Chiefs. Cut by the Chiefs. THE EFFIN CHIEFS!!!!!!

Omar now slings the pigskin for the mighty Florence Phantoms of the American Indoor Football Association.

I can't make stuff like this up.

The only thing worse than this pack is any trade made by Frank Wren EVER!

2006 Topps Heritage Football

After the overwhelming response on my unofficial football repack poll, I'm tempted to post my Topps Heroes Season 2 box results as threatened.
But, to be fair, this pack was requested. So without further delay, I bring you some retro football in an old baseball style. For some unknown reason.....
Tom Brady. This is from before Tom completely lost his mind and decided to be a one gal kinda quarterback...

Terrence Holt - Lions

D.D. Lewis - Seahawks ( What does the D.D. stand for? I have no idea, and I'm too lazy to look it up)

Flashbacks Insert - Frank Gifford ( Frank was a really good player, despite playing for the Giants)

Ike Hilliard - Bucs

Chester Taylor - Vikings

and who else would be back to back with Chester Taylor??? Why it's Adrian Peterson of course!

Who knew Adrian played with the Bears before coming over to the Vikes???

(sit back down Gellman.... I'm just messing with you..... trying to spice up this horrible pack break...)

Allen Rossum - Black back variation ( why did I scan the front of Allan when the back is the variation? Because unless it's an actual '52 Topps card, this type of gimmick bores the hell out of me)

and can someone give me a quick tip for me to get my scanner to scan the white borders on cards, or not scan them. Either one. But not both, sometimes, only when it feels like it...

Repack madness...

I love Christmas. It is my favourite time of year. And this year is extra special. Our local Wally World has actually brought in blasters of other things besides hockey. Repack Crap! Well, it might've been called something different. 8 packs for $15. Sold! Upon opening the package... I find 4 packs of 2003 Fleer Focus Jersey Edition. 2 Hobby. 2 retail. *sigh* Oh well... let's see what the difference is.
