Excuse my lack of posting over the last couple of days. Due to the big holiday tomorrow, I've been getting a lot of work done so I can relax. Yeah right, if you call cooking for the in-laws relaxing.
That, and my scanner and I have come to an understanding. It don't work, and there's nothing I can do about it. I'm sure some of you understand.
So I bring you this, from the Rome Braves, manager Randy Ingle gets into it with the homeplate umpire. To set the scene, in the top of the 10th inning, Rome hits a homerun to take the lead. Everyone on both sides saw it. No problem. Except the homeplate umpire, as the runner was rounding first, calls it a foul ball.
Randy did a pretty good job. I like him helping the ump by moving 3rd base a little.
But let's face it. Randy is in single "A". Let's let Phillip Wellman, manager of the Braves "AA" team show Randy how it's really done.
For me, the crawling through the rice paddy and lobbing the grenade is an All Time Classic.
