Anyone remember how SportsCenter was before they said to find out who was now? Remember when they had time to put together fun to watch sport montages like these....

At least you knew if you played for Woody Hayes that he wanted to win.
#1 still makes me want to cry.
Today though, were stuck with an ESPN which is more interested in creating stories than reporting stories.
They've just lost their top radio personality as well.
And yet, since they have no true competition.
They are free to continue to pump to hype whatever it is they want to succeed.
I can't begrudge them anything because in the end they are a business.
But wouldn't it be nice for a station built around sports to not need a separate news channel because they've shifted their purpose so much over the last 10 years.
At least their overlord has some decent programming on their other stations though.
